In 2011, Burntwood Family History Group celebrated its 25th anniversary.
As part of the celebrations, the Burntwood Memorial Project was created.

The idea was for the Group to research the names of the servicemen whose names are recorded on the Chasetown War Memorial, who who lost their lives during the First World War. A mini-biography would be compiled for each serviceman.

As volunteers conducted their research, it was evident that not all servicemen from Burntwood who lost their lives during the First World War, had their names recorded on the Chasetown War Memorial. Their names were still reasearched and mini-biographies compiled for them too.

Clicking on a highlighted name above, recorded on the memorial will take you to that serviceman's mini-biography

Clicking on a highlighted name below, not recorded on the memorial will take you to that serviceman's mini-biography
