During past years, we have organised coach trips to London and other locations to visit places of genealogical interest. These have included The Family History Centre (TNA), The Public Record Office, The Society of Genealogists and The Family History Fair at the National Exibhition Centre in Birmingham
The Group has been represented several times at Local History Fairs at Lichfield, Stafford and Walsall, The Millennium Point and the Mail Box, both in Birmingham.
We have been represented at the Great Wyrley Local History Society and the Burntwood Wakes Festival, 'Saturday Fun Day' and we have held Open Days' at Burntwood Library

Visit to The National Archives
48 people travelled to TNA, and all our Members had a great day out.
Members spent their day researching, especially searching War Service Records and War Diaries. Many Members were very pleased with the free access to the 1911 Census
On the return journey there was much discussion about the success of research and many a printed document was passed around the coach. Our thanks go to Jenny Lee for organising yet another successful visit
